| I love music so much it borders on crazy. But it's so fantastic. I've been listening mostly to Glee's covers and Julia Nunes the past couple of weeks, with some Say Anything and The Killers mixed in. Haven't really done anything in the past few weeks, just school and band mostly. The Bruce Springsteen concert that I was supposed to go to in Kansas City was canceled the day of the concert, so I was kind of bummed. But they had a four story Barnes and Noble in Kansas City, and I got to eat some really good food, so it was a pretty good vacation. Plus, I missed a day of school. Oh, I have a twitter now. Yes, I finally gave in, but it's mostly just to follow people, though I do enjoy thinking of witty things to say. Here's the url if you want to follow me: http://twitter.com/mzmtiger. I'm the one on the left in my profile picture. With the North Carolina hat on. I got a new one of those in Kansas City too. Posted a new batch of icons over at my icon journal, stormydayicon. They're of Chris Colfer. Obsessed? Yes. Ashamed? No. Just look at my icon. How beautiful is he? I hate living in Nebraska sometimes though, just because some of the bais. I showed a friend and old teacher of mine a picture of Chris, and told them how I would marry him, even though he's gay. They took one look and were like "He looks gay," like they were disgusted. And I was like "WTF! Why does that matter? And what's wrong with him being gay?" It kind of ticked me off, because I love Chris, and I have absolutely no problem with homosexuality, and I was kind of offended to be in the same room with them. Useless post is useless. Sigh. | |

| I'M FREAKISHLY TIRED RIGHT NOW. I slept until one today. One in the afternoon. I'm still trying to recover from softball, and I'm really glad I'm not playing next year. We had a marching band competition yesterday, and that contributed to the tired I suppose. We only got a two, even though we all really thought we deserved a one. But we've still got NSBA (state) next week, so we have five more practices to make it as good as we can. Have found two new shows to watch this year: NCIS: Los Angeles and Glee. NCIS: LA is pretty good, not as good as the original, but good. I like the larger main cast, and the undercover theme. It'll be interesting to see where it goes. AND GLEE. What to say about Glee? I thought that it might be like a tv show version of High School Musical, which I hate, but it's almost like making fun of HSM. Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester is total epic win, and I love Artie, Tina and Mercedes as well. They need more screen time. The stupid love quadrangle that's developing and the whole Will/Emma thing can just GTFO. Plus, Will is a douche, no matter how much he tries to pretend he cares about the kids. I hate it and it annoys me more then it probably should. But the musical numbers are great, and when Rachel and Finn shut up long enough for me to hear the others it's an excellent show. The best part of the show is still this though: I love Kurt Hummel/Chris Colfer far too much. But they're just so fierce/adorable that I can't help myself. I think I watch all of his scenes more then I should. His single tear in Acafellas destroyed what little of my sanity was left. I would watch a show that was just about him. He has a song/solo coming up in a couple weeks and I CANNOT WAIT. He's singing with Rachel but I'm excited about getting to hear him once she shuts up, since spoilers have said that they're competing for the solo. It's Defying Gravity from Wicked, a song that I love. So nothing else has really been going on. Marching band has pretty much consumed my life. But I love it. | |

| Haven't updated in forever. I know, I know. But I needed to update. Just to talk about this man: Chris Colfer. He plays Kurt Hummel on the new Fox show "Glee." That's how amazing he is. I'm watching a show on Fox. Aside from his character being absolutely fierce, Chris is hilarious. Think Matt Lewis-esque, in terms of adorable and funny. And his single tear in "Acafellas" destroyed my sanity. You need to watch these interviews, and read this Q&A with him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht39TP-CCPQhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjAuLXltp6whttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAPlenzDTaI (him and Amber together? Total epic win.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjDtVW6yV98 (go ahead and skip to 2:05, that's where the good part starts) http://chris-colfer.com/qa_chrisSeriously though, I'm making icons as soon as I can stop watching these videos. I love him so fucking much. If he wasn't gay, I'd marry him. Hell, I would still marry him. I love him that much. Why does he have to win at life so much?!? Really, I don't know why they can't just dump all the other characters and just let Chris, Kevin, Amber and Jenna just play their characters without any interference. I'm watching a Fox show, for God's sake, they could at least do that for me. But God, my life has been so tiring. Finally done with softball, forever. Not playing next year, no way. But band has been unbelievably cool once again. Definitely doing that next year. And it snowed a few days after my birthday, for which I got a new Ipod and Bruce Springsteen tickets. My birthday is October 7th, for crying out loud, and it's been snowing on and off since. - Song in a shining moment:mr. cellophane sung by chris colfer

| GAHHHHHHHHH! I should not like him this much!
Sorry about the caps locks, but it's so frustrating. Sometimes, I think that he might like me back, just maybe, and other times, I'm not sure that he notices I'm a girl. Like the other day, he let me rest my head on his shoulder and gave in to the puppy dog eyes, but who knows if that means anything!?!?!?
And guys think us girls are confusing. Huh, they haven't seen anything. It's just so frustrating and confusing and gah! I really shouldn't like him this much. He's one of my best guy friends, and I've known him since kindergarten, but it was only this year that I started liking him. He's always been one of my best guy friends, but now it's different, you know? You can only be really, really good friends with a couple people in high school, and he's one of them that I ended up sticking with and it's really confusing.
I can't help but like him though. He's really very sweet, and I love his hair and eyes. - Location:home

| Icon meme today! Here's the rules: 1. Reply to this post, and I will pick six of your icons. 2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose. 3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts. 4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee. What: Tyler Hansbrough, my favorite player from my favorite college team, the University of North Carolina Who: Made by me Why: Gah, I love him sooo much. There's just something about him that I love. He's probably my favorite college players ever, and one of my favorite basketball players ever. He's just so sweet and awkward and college kid like that I can't help but love him. What: Matt Dallas as Kyle in Kyle XY, from the episode where he plays basketball Who: Made by [Unknown LJ tag]Why: Matt Dallas is dreamy. Seriously, and him playing basketball is possibly one of the best things ever. Plus, I absolutely adore the blue and red colorings on this. What: Lebron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers Who: made by scotsdontcryWhy: He's my favorite basketball player ever I think, on my favorite NBA team ever. He's just so amazing and talented and awesomely epic. And the coloring on this one? EPIC. What: CJ Cregg and Danny Concannon (Allison Janney and Timothy Busfield) kissing in the episode 12 of season 1 "He Shall From Time To Time" Who: made by runandnevertireWhy: Because that scene was one of the best scenes in The West Wing history. I <3 the CJ/Danny ship, almost as much as I <3 the whole West Wing series. That kiss was so great, and TB and AJ have such great chemistry. Gah, I miss that show. What: Lance "Buddy" Franklin of the AFL's Hawthorn Hawks Who: made by hazy_crazy, who makes some of the best icons ever. Why: Because that man, is hawt. Plus, I loved the the placement and the text, and again, Jess makes incredible icons. And the AFL is insanely cool to watch. What: The hot Taylor Lautner Who: by me at stormydayiconWhy: That is the Taylor Lautner, and that is just a great picture of him. Plus, I think the coloring is actually pretty good. Plus, that man, is fine. So that's that. | |

| Well, since I haven't posted in a while, and my life is kind of boring right now, I figured I'd take the lead from hazy_crazy and do this meme type thing. 1. Post about something that made you happy today. 2. Repeat for eight days. So, for today: 1. My cousin signed as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars, a professional football team in the NFL. Yes, a real professional football team. I'm sooooo excited for him. I thought my dad and brother were joking when they said it, but it was the truth. 2. Click right hereThat man, right there. That is Craig Horner. He's an Australian actor in this show that I kind of watch called "Legend of The Seeker" and he is super fine. More men should have bodies like that. Seriously. 3. Ryan, the guy I have a crush on, smiled a lot today while we were hanging out with a couple of our friends before our Concert in the Park. He has quite a lovely smile. But, gah, I shouldn't like him this much, but I do. 4. The songs "Sooner Surrender" by Matt Nathanson, "Say" by Ryan Cabrera, and "5:19" by Matt Wertz. Gah, I love music so much. 5. My aunt having lost 100 pounds on Weight Watchers. She really looks a lot better then she did before. I'm really proud of her. 6. The West Wing. God, I'm pretty sure that that show was one of the best ever, and Toby Ziegler (points at adorable Toby and babies icon) is possibly the best character ever. Pretty much anything he says is pure gold. But maybe his best line ever comes when he's talking to Huck and Molly, his new baby twins (points at icon again) and he goes "I didn't realize babies come with hats. You guys crack me up. You don't have jobs, you can't walk or speak the language, you don't have a dollar in your pockets, but you've got yourselves a hat. So everything's fine." God, I think that, and the rest of his speech type thing, may be some of the sweetest lines ever said on television. Toby is such a fantastic character, and the rest of the show is so good. Gah, I miss that show. Here's the baby clip *squees at the adorable* So that's pretty much it for today. - Location:home

| this pile of boys, jumping and yelling like mad as the confetti poured from the ceiling and the crowd roared collectively. But none of that mattered to any of them, because this was their moment. The coaches, the fans, they'd all be back doing the same thing next year, but all the players had was four years. And now, Tommy had capped his four off in the best way he could think of. As he hugged Danny tightly, with Jeff at his back and Tyler jumping up and down and pounding on them all, he knew that they'd done their last year right.THE NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS ARE MADE OF UTTER, EPIC, SPECTACULAR WIN!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!1!!!!! WE ARE THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!1!!! We absolutely beat the living hell out of Michigan State! We looked unstoppable all through the tourney. And best of all, Tyler Hansbrough finally got to say that he has a ring to go with all his other accomplishments. His career has been amazing, and even without a championship it would have been fabulous, but now it's just so much better. Gah, I <3 him so much. We probably won't keep anybody, but I hope someone besides Davis, who already says he's saying. I think we can get at least one back. Hopefully. But God, I love my Tarheels. The one thing I might love more then the Tarheels: One Shining Moment. For those of you not familiar with the NCAA tournament, at the end of the championship game, they play a highlight reel of moments from the tourney, and they play the song "One Shining Moment". If you have never heard "One Shining Moment", I'm pretty sure your life is not complete. It is one of the best songs ever, so beautiful and inspiring and epic that it is almost beyond description. Here's this years video so you can watch it, and listen to the wonderfully epic song. It almost brought tears to my eyes this year. And now, I leave you with this picture, because it's so great. Tyler and his coach, Roy Williams, all their hard work finally paying off. - Location:home

| as he's buried in the happy pile that is his team at half court of the biggest stage in college basketball, even though it was never a stage, just a court to them. Maybe he wants to be a writer, and tell stories like the one that has shaped this year. Maybe he'll be playing in the NBA next year, if any of the rumors that have started to swirl are true. But right now, none of that matters, because he's won. And there's no greater feeling then that.
I have my hand back! Well, mostly. I went to the doctor today, and I don't have to wear a splint for everyday life anymore. I can start practicing for soccer this week and play in two weeks. Plus, now I can play basketball again without having to worry about that huge splint. And that splint was starting to smell really, really bad.
Also, these last few days, I've been watching a lot of AFL for an American, but damn that game looks fun. Almost makes me wish I was Australian. I actually think I have a pretty good hang of what's going on when I watch it now.
So, because this entry was almost completely pointless, I bring you some music suggestions:
Candle (Sick and Tired)- White Tie Affair The Man Who Can't Be Moved- The Script Broadway- The Goo Goo Dolls Make You Crazy- Brett Dennen We Cry- The Script
And that concludes this rather pointless post. Off to bed now. - Location:home

| this all encompassing feeling of anticipation. He stood in the middle of his teammates, right fist stuck in the air among their fists. They jumped as a group, looking all the while like eager kids on Christmas morning as they huddled around their captain. Quieting their cheering, but jumping along with them, Tommy shouted above the din created simply by the atmosphere, "Our time to shock the world, guys. Let's play. Shockers, loud and proud, on three." And the team counted together, still jumping, and then shouted "Shockers!" loud and proud indeed, before letting their feet slowly become earth bound again before they charged out of the locker room as a unit.Final Four! Final Four! Final Four! We're in the Final Four! UNC is in the Final Four! I'm sorry, but I'm just so damn excited. My Cavs and Lebron have almost locked up the first seed in the Eastern Conference for the NBA Playoffs, and Lebron James looks, not just nearly unstoppable, but totally unstoppable. The man is almost too amazing. And now, my Tarheels are in the Final Four! I love them so much. And I want to see Tyler Hansbrough win a championship, the kid deserves it. All-time NCAA free throw leader, all-time ACC rebounding and scoring leader, and he stayed at UNC for four years, instead of going pro like he could have after his sophomore, and especially after last year, when he was the NCAA Player of The Year. Plus, I think he's gorgeous. I don't know if anyone shares my opinion, but I think he's gorgeous. Here's a few pictures of Tyler under the cut to save your f-lists. ( I'm so proud of my Heels )So that's pretty much all this post is about. Basketball. I go to the doctor's today to see if I can play soccer yet or not, so wish me luck. UNC! - Location:home
